Inheritance (K2 - book 1)
The elderly owner of a Swiss bank has been murdered. The inheritance, and control of the bank and its money, has been diverted to a retired British Intelligence officer. The bank, and its hidden treasures, come complete with a commercial espionage unit (K2) that is now in the middle of a small war. No one is who they seem, everyone has an agenda.
This is a fast-paced thriller set in 2007, full of suspense, intrigue, and woven with dark humour and modern terror threats. Swiss banks, freemasons, the mafia, and the world's intelligence agencies race to find the treasure - but no one wants the gold. It's what's hidden with the gold that matters.
Inheritance is very mysterious from the beginning, so it took some time to understand the plot, but overall it is entertaining and very thrilling towards the end. The main characters are well developed and quite politically incorrect so the book is also funny at times. That makes the reader quite fond of Beesely and his eccentric bodyguard Johno. I thoroughly recommend this novel to lovers of spy stories and glamorous adventures.

Great Book
I thouroughly enjoyed reading this book. I, like hehe, was left hanging! So now hunting down the series.
(Note that the book referred to Belize, South America but it\'s not. Belize is the only English speaking country in Central America, bordered on the north, nw by Mexico, South sw by Guatemala and in the East by the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Belize is also considered as a Caribbean Country.)

A great read
Once I got into the who's who and worked out the relationships this was a great read. Loved the pace and the style of writing. Then read the second book with laugh out loud moments and now to download the next installment....
