The Truth Stone
Some stones are better left unturned. The World Creationist Society detects a geological anomaly in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. A huge dodecagon shaped stone is found in a quarry. Its symbolic shape and color draw clandestine Noah’s Ark seekers. The phenomena is simultaneously researched and feared as the characters become both controlled and healed by its out-of-this-world powers. The 12-sided pedestal gives hidden messages that provide clues to a coming cataclysm. The quirky characters will have you laughing out loud until their nervous escapades reveal the hidden horror of The Truth Stone.
‘The Truth Stone’ is a thriller with spiritual overtones that tells the story of a group of friends that discover a magic stone with miraculous curative powers. The first half of the book is complicated and confusing at times. The plot develops slowly and lacks action. However, towards the middle of the book all the events described previously come together and the story starts to make sense. The end is full of action and flows like a movie. Overall I found this a very entertaining read that I would recommend to fans of both science- or spiritualistic- fiction.
