Fast paced tales!
This selection of short stories, belonging to the vamp-romance genre, differs in a number of ways to the typical teen focussed stuff out there at the moment. Granted, in some stories the vampire sort of represents a knight in shining armour, nevertheless its well polished workable armour minus the glitter. These short stories are as much about fantasies embracing dealing with bullies and gunning for the underdog, as much as focussing on romance. There's an element of grittiness and getting straight to the point with these stories. Also, considering I use public transport, I can't help but think these stories would be great for passing the time on the train - 2 or 3 stories could be read during a 30-40 minute trip. Perfect time killer for the commuter.
